GLORY held a press conference last night, shining a little more light on the 2012 new years eve event.
It was announced that a who’s who of kickboxers will be fighting on the card, some of the biggest names in the sport. They are:
Peter Aerts
Semmy Schilt
Sergey Kharitonov
Remy Bonjasky
Errol Zimmerman
Gokhan Saki
Daniel Ghita
Igor Jurkovic
Jamal Ben Saddik
Fabiano Cyclone
Filip Verlinden
Brice Guidon
Mourad Bouzidi
Rico Verhoeven
With the caliber of fighters the new years eve event has suddenly picked up, it will aim to be one of the more exciting events in recent years, giving it a feel of what the Japanese NYE events used to be. All in all, there will be 25ish fights on the card, only seen by Sengoku’s NYE show years past which broke the 30 fight barrier.
It was also announced that those who purchased tickets for the GLORY 4 event could have their ticket refunded and purchase a NYE show ticket. Note: it is not a trade in program, it is a you get your cash back and buy another one, type of thing.

I was already considering a trip back to Tokyo this year, I’ve just booked my flight!!! I’ve been to many of the NYE shows over the years, but this is something of a whole new level. what is the deal with Glory and Dream then, nobody has actually stated what has happened, are they actually owners of Dream now or just financing the event?
