GLORY continues their excursion into Japan.  With a huge event planned there, come NYE, the company has found it necessary to begin operations in Tokyo, and rightfully so.

In doing so, GLORY has also established a new entity in Japan, as is typically required to do business there.  GLORY Sports Japan KK, will be the name of the company which operates in Japan under the Glory Sports International (GSI) umbrella.

This huge step says something to fans of Japanese MMA worldwide:  if JMMA is going to make it on the level that it spent so many years at, this will be it’s time.

This will be the sixth office in the world that GLORY operates out of, each placed strategically.  The office in Tokyo is located in the ritzy Omotesando district of Tokyo.  For those that have not visited Tokyo, it is an area of Tokyo that is catered to the wealthy person.

GLORY plans to announce their plans for airing the show very soon, according to officials with the company.  One would assume that, in Japan, the show will air locally on SkyPerfectTV.  However, with the power that GLORY is picking up, and the pocket book they have, it wouldn’t at all surprise us to see a TV deal done in time for the show.
