Rampage Jackson could be returning to his home away from home, this according to a French blog posting that claims knowledge of the situation.
If the stars align, Jackson could be making his return to Japan by way of the IGF. The word floating around is that Jackson would meet Satoshi Ishii in a puroresu match.
No word of when or where the match would take place, but it would make perfect sense for Jackson to take this course. Jackson, who was once one of the most dominant fighters on the planet, still maintains his prowess in the cage. With the years starting to add up, however, the physical toll the sport takes on his body could allow for a welcomed arrival to puroresu.
The supposed plan is this: Ishii could either meet Jackson under an IGF match, or it could see Ishii square off with Tim Sylvia in a DREAM rules match on NYE.
Either way you slice it, it seems that Satoshi Ishii, Tim Syliva, and Jerome Le Banner will have some sort of role in Japan in the very near future. No word was mentioned as to the timing of any of it, thus leaving a lot in the air.
