DEEP have confirmed both Masanori Kanehara and Kazuyuki Miyata’s opponents for HALEO IMPACT in December.
HERO’S and DREAM veteran Miyata will take on fomer kickboxer, Jae Won Kim in a bantamweight matchup. Not much is known about the Korean aside from his kickboxing background. Miyata makes his first appearance in DEEP since 2009, he is coming off a decision victory over Erzan Estanov at RINGS Vol.2 Conquisito
Meanwhile former Sengoku Featherweight Champion Kanehara looks to rise further in the bantamweight ranks, he will face Orville “Pooh Bear” Smith. Orville holds a record of 15-3 and has captured numerous titles in the US regional circuit. This will be Kanehara’s third fight since moving down 135 and he has looked impressive so far, finishing both opponents in the first round. Kanehara has been eyeing a potential move to the UFC, a win over Smith could see him move closer to achieving that move.
In addition to that, there will be some kickboxing on the card courtesy of KRUSH as Yutaro Yamauchi takes on Yuma Matsui.
