Expectation around Filipino prospect Jhanlo Sangiao is intense. The flyweight is set for his second pro fight this Saturday, and all eyes will be upon him as he attempts to follow in the footsteps of his father by forging a successful MMA career.

Mark Sangiao is the man behind Team Lakay. He retired from MMA prematurely in order to start the most successful camp the country has ever known, producing a plethora of champions like Eduard Folayang, Kevin Belingon, Joshua Pacio, Honorio Banario and Stephen Loman.

Now Sangiao’s 23 year old son is pursuing his own MMA career. After a successful debut last year he returns to the cage for the second time to face Hansel Bilog at Team Lakay Championship: ‘Kapangan Invasion IV’.

The fight is the headliner at the Kapangan Municipal Gym this Saturday. Sangiao (1-0) will hope to build on his quickfire stoppage win at Team Lakay Championship 15 when he faces Bilog, who appears to be making his pro debut.
