It has been a landmark few months for New Japan Pro Wrestling. From the Bushi Road buyout, to the highly demanded and highly successful launch of international live ippv, to a large number of 4 and even 5 star matches the promotion has put on. It goes without saying that it has never been easier, nor a better time to be a fan of good old Shin Nihon Pro Wrestling. This remarkable evolution and global expansion was perhaps best reflected by the 2012  Wrestling Observer awards, where NJPW pretty much dominated.
