RoadFC has announced that former DREAM lightweight champion grand prix winner and former Shooto / PrideFC force Joachim Hansen will compete at RoadFC 011.
Hansen, a staple in Japan for many years, will compete in the featherweight division. His opponent is to be named.
RoadFC 011 will play host to a slew of foreign fighters, including: Ikuhisa Minowa, Jeff Monson, Vuyisile Colossa, Melvin Manhoef, Shungo Oyama, Shoko Sato, Roan Carneiro, and Kume Takasuke.
Manhoef was rumored to have been close to a UFC deal recently, but nothing was ever confirmed. Manhoef provides the excitement UFC executives have sought as of late, however, the wins don’t seem to be coming with that exciting style.
